Hitler wanted to be an artist and his family wanted him to work in civil service. His father pushed him towards civil service the most, which is why he disliked his father. When Hitler's father died His mother let him follow his dreams. He wanted to go to school at the Vienna Academy of arts, but he was unable to get in both times he applied. After Hitler’s mother died he got inheritance but quickly became poor. Hitler would sell watercolor paintings, which was enough to live of. After WWI Hitler changed he started to be interested in politics and started to be influenced by anti-Jewish stereotypes. The weird thing is that Before WWI Hitler had personal and business relationships with Jews. How could one person go from want to be artist, to the hatred of all Jews and killing people? This I will never understand.
